It is very important to use a reliable Hosting company that provides good support. So far my experience with Hostgator has been perfect. I have not had a problem with them and they have live 24 hour support so any questions are dealt with swiftly.
Also, if you pick a host just because it is cheap, they might suddenly go out of business. If that happens, your site, your business and all your hard work goes out the window, forever.
So go with a trusted Hosting company. Try Hostgator, they have plans that start at around $8. What is your business worth?

Master Site Manager – Walk Through and Review

One of the biggest headaches of having multiple sites is monitoring their performance. I have used quite a few different tools out there to find out my rankings per keyword and all sorts of other things.
Now I have found a solution to end my headache , MasterSiteManager.
Below is a walkthrough of the easy sign up process and also the funcionalities and the dashboard.
Here are the various options you get when you sign up. You can check out how this tool works for just $1, a 30 day trial. The following screen shots will show you what features there are and the steps after you sign up.
Firstly, you get the sign up screen.
You will see this message after you sign up, which just needs activation by confirming via the link in your email.
After activation, just login with the password you signed up with.
There are a lot of step by step detailed instructions on how to use the dashboard. Here you see the 1st screen which explains how to manage your websites.
This screen will be where you add your urls.
You can easily import a long list of urls with a csv file that is provided. If you have a lot of sites to monitor, this makes it very easy to add to the dashboard. You won’t have to input it one by one.
Fill in the details of your websites, including the Hosting and registrar information.
At every step, there are detailed notes and instructions on how it works and what it does. Quite comprehensive really.
If you want to see a demo of how it works, there is even video walkthroughs for all the steps.
I like these video steps as it makes it so simple to learn how to use this tool.
This shows the SEO stats tracking which is the best feature here, in my opinion.
This page will track all your keywords, where they rank over time and will even show the increase or decrease in positions on each search engine.
You can print out this report for your own use. If you are an SEO consultant, there is even an option to upload your company logo and print out the status reports for your client from the dashboard. Love this feature and has simplified the monthly reporting process and saved a lot of admin time.
The information here explains the graphical tracking and it shows movements up and down by green or red colors.
You can easily add a list of keywords you want to track per url by pasting it into this box. They have really thought out the usability of this by having the ability to easily add keywords to each url you are tracking.
Lots of other tools are included in your membership as seen here. Really handy if you are an SEO geek. Including tools that you never knew you needed.
Jeff Johnson’s new video on getting more traffic

It’s not too late for you to grab more than your fair share of the Holiday Shopping Traffic, and make tons of affiliate sales…. or even sell your own products.
Here’s what I’m talking about:
Jeff Johnson, who is a super affiliate and one of my internet marketing coaches, just posted a quick video on his blog that reveals…
1. How to quickly and easily tap into the tons of free holiday shopping traffic and earn huge commissions… you can even get started today… it’s not too late.
2. Even without Jeff’s special “triple your click-rates” wordpress theme layout… you could still see a 62.9% increase in ad revenue… just watch the video to see how.
3. How Jeff generated 100k in affiliate commissions in the last few weeks… and how you could too… just follow his simple advice in the video.
Visit Jeff’s blog and watch his new video.
It’s totally low-key and you don’t need to optin or anything to watch it; just click the play button.
Here’s Jeff’s “Grab Some Holiday Shopping Traffic” video: http://www.undergroundtraininglab.com/
Enjoy!
P.S.
The websites in Jeff’s new video are built using his special SEO Blog Software.
You can download the free version just by clicking the bright orange button on his blog. I have used this software to build quite a few affiliate sites and it works very well in getting you loads of traffic. No risk to try it out as you don’t have to pay for it.
Tool for converting video formats

I just found a great little online site that converts FLV files to MPEG and MOV formats along with a host of others.
Just download a YouTube file using a site like www.savetube.com and then convert the file using Media Convert. Save Tube is also a site where you can backup any of the videos you have uploaded to You Tube or any other video site.
You’ll have to upload it but I found the upload and resulting download (of the new file) both went quite quickly and the resulting file quality is quite good — at least for MOV files. And because it is online, no software to install.
How to add life and fun to your blog posts

I came across this great tool Zemanta via a post on Twitter and is also featured on TechCrunch. It allows you to find contextually relevant links, pictures, related content and tags from the net that you can add to a Wordpress blog post you are writing with one click. Zemanta uses an internally developed semantic analysis engine and will only suggest Creative Commons content so there are no issues with legality of using the content on your site.
Currently it is works with Firefox and TypePad, self hosted Wordpress, wordpress.com and Blogger blogs although they are looking at adding Movable type and also LiveWriter to the mix.
I have been testing it on some of my blogs and so far it has been great for adding some color to my posts with image suggestions and also the automatic tagging is my favorite feature of this. You can download Zemanta for free now. It was a winning startup idea at Seedcamp and has just raised more funding this year so I am looking forward to seeing what other great functions they come up with. This has made blogging much more fun.
